Hello WildLifers
This is additional information relating to my prior post on the subject.

Just in case someone felt my opinion of the WalMart anti-gun stance must
have been inaccurate. Definitely, the prior post was accurate. But could have used some proving references. So here are just a couple of links from the time, listed below.

And from what a reliable member told me yesterday, WalMart is still requiring government issued photo ID to buy anything from the so-called firearms offerings. Including all ammo, airgun pellets, and bb's. He was going to get some pellets, but left them on the counter when the employee wanted to register his information. And "BTW", he packs heat every day in his employment. "It's a matter of principal". So the $ we spend at WalMart is going to feed Bloomberg's anti-Second crowd.

Do you have any idea what a huge database of firearms owners WalMart is giving the anti-Second crowd with their worldwide ammo and firearms sales? If you buy any type of ammo at all, Bloomberg has you on his list for owning one of those firearms. Or even a Red Ryder BB Air rifle. And you think Bloomberg won't share his WalMart list with the next socialist White House occupant that orders the seizure of all firearms in the US?

Here are a couple of original story links from the time when WalMart climbed into bed with the anti-Second crowd. If they don't turn into active blue links, just copy and paste into your favorite browser address bar.

Very Best Regards to our BEWF members, Old Bear.

Change in Walmart Air Rifle policy: 2-20-2021 Last week I deliberately spoke with the Sports Department manager regarding the registration of customers who purchase Air Rifle supplies. Apparently the girl who was recording driver's licenses for air gun sales was sorely mistaken. They only care that the purchaser of air guns or air gun supplies is at least 18 years old. Their policy is boldly posted now on the front of the glass case. Firearms require the normal ID. Air rifle sales are only to 18 years old or older. So this new procedure is acceptable under the applicable laws.
"Not So" at the Tractor Supply: Their boss on duty still says it is a "Federal Law" that they record the ID of everyone who buys an air rifle or air gun ammunition. Fact: There is no such "federal law" in Utah to record the Driver's License information into their corporate database for air gun related sales. There are VERY few corporation web servers that I would trust my DL database to. Actually, I can't think of any private corporations that I would allow to duplicate my DL data in their hackable server. And that' my personal opinion.
