If any of you missed the anti-gun declaration of the Starbucks CEO prohibiting persons who have (or don't have) firearm carry permits ( https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2013/09/18/starbucks-coffee-guns-ceo-schultz/2829937/ ) then you probably missed the local Smiths Food King being on the same page with Starbucks.

To go to Smith's Food in Brigham City, you first have to get past their Starbucks coffee/snack shop. If that's the excuse Smiths is using for their own anti-Second actions, their excuse smells like spoiled fish.

Al called today to add information that he and the Pres had done on this subject. They were both fluffed-off when they asked for reasons.

BEWF has contacted both the Smith's manager in Brigham, as well as the Corporate Offices. They tap-dance and return either BBS answers or no answers. Which acts to confirm that Smiths Food is a "gun-free zone".

Which, to me, says; "Hello Wally World". Walmart has noticeably lower prices as well as in most instances noticeably better quality than Smith's anyway. And I don't buy Smith's gasoline with my 'points' (you get points for paying extra for groceries) anyway. It sputters in my Jeep GC Overland HO Engine, and I don't like a sputtering engine.
