I've read on some of the biggy forums about bending the springs on the M1911 model pistols to reduce the trigger pull. I've looked at my pistols, and I really don't know if I should bend the spring forward or rear-ward (barrel poined away from me). Can anyone advise me? Terry wants $65 to do a trigger job, and I'm too much of a Scotsman to pay that kind of money.
