Boy, what an honor -- to have a chance to say something, and not have to say I'm wrong, even if I am. I assure you that I will keep this Blog as factual as I can.
Just some background for those who are members but don't know me personally. I got into competition shooting late in my life, except for a short stint as a pistol shooter on an Army team way back in the "Brown Boot" days. The rifle competition came really after I retired, although I shot in many local high power rifle matches, and at Bailey,CO, Whittington Center in NM, and other out-of-state places. I had a change to know some of the national champions, and they found me to be very responsive to their comments and advice. So, what I'll be writing about will be not only what I've learned through my own experience, but also what I have learned from David Tubb, the US Palma Team and others over the years. Twelve years at Perry can be a very enjoyable and educational time. I'm not a champion shooter, I did make Expert in High Power Rifle, but physical changes in my right eye prevented me from continuing.
If anyone has comments for me, send me an e-mail at shoun@besstek.net. The response will be private if you so state, otherwise, I may include it in the Blog.
