All Officers and Board Members' duty terms run for a period of two years. Normally the V.P. moves up to President at the end of the President's term, leaving the V.P. seat open for election. However, if any member wants to run for President (or any position other than Sec/Treas) (s)he must advise the Board at a regular meeting so the name can be put on the ballot for the January meeting vote. The Secretary/Treasurer is chosen by the President at the beginning of each year. If you want to run for any Board Position (except Sec/Treas) at the January elections, get your name on the ballot for that position. To get your name on the ballot, contact either the President or the Secretary before December 1st. Elected Board Members and Officers may have only three unexcused absences from monthly meetings in any calendar year. The Officers and Voting Board Members, by a majority vote, may replace any elected member who has more than three unexcused absences. |
